Baby Sign Language Basics

Curious about baby sign language? Join this virtual class to find out more about how sign language can aid communication with your infant or young toddler. Learn the basics, nursery rhymes and make sign language work for your family.

Baby sign language can be a way to help your baby communicate with you before they are able to do so with words. It can increase your understanding of your baby's needs and reduce frustration for your baby.

Incorporating another language into your daily life may seem overwhelming, but in this workshop, we will take it down to the basics and give you the tools to begin introducing sign language to your baby in a respectful and sustainable way. 

What Can You Expect? 

  • Introduction to Baby Sign Language and its benefits.

  • Learn basic signs (including signs food, family, fun and courtesy).

  • Learn nursery rhymes to sign and sign to your baby.

  • Tips on how to introduce Sign Language into your family life.

Attending will also receive a PDF with basic signs and tips to incorporate sign language into your daily life with baby.
